This is a neat addition to the Kindle. I love my Kindle and it goes everywhere with me. Now with notepad I can add Kindle books to a list for future purchase or makes notes about anything or a grocery list as I think of items I need to purchase. It has several categories and should fit everyone's need.
Try it you won't be disappointed.
You can make your one for free! July 15, 2010 Ron Claus (Seattle, WA USA) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
You can do the same thing by going to notepad on your coumputer, type in catories on a list of numbers and save it on your kindle under documents. Thats what I did and it worked well.
Here are some shortcuts...
go to the kindle store/alt home.
play minesweeper/shift alt m.
take a screen shot/shift alt g... the screen should flash.
play music(if you put it on your kindle)/shift alt space.
pause music or text 2 speech/alt space.
skip a song/alt f
to google something or to go to a website/go to home, type what you want, move the 5 way controler to what you want to do.
Thats all!
Great concept, lousy product July 5, 2010 Helen Gaimari 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I bought this item because I wanted a way to take notes on my Kindle. Although this product is based on a brilliant concept, the product itself is lousy. There are so few categories, most of which I don't even need. The Kindle "cheats" are so few in number, and they are very easy to find online for FREE. If you want this kind of notebook, just type one out yourself on your computer and save it to your Kindle as a text (.txt) file. Then just create notes based on the categories that YOU created and that YOU need. Don't buy this crappy product, just make it yourself. Infact, I think I'll make my own CUSTOM notebook right now!
Useful? July 2, 2010 Sam-0 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
i was disappointed in the document, expecting some clever way to organize my notes. Actually it doesn't do anything at all but create a blank "book" with some keywords at which you should add notes.
I would recommed it only to those who want to have a kindle cheat sheet...
